Welcome to Mathematica!
"We're all the same and we're all different"

| Learning math is based on making connections and relating it to real life. When forced to learn concepts a certain way, learning doesn't occur and we cannot speak our minds. Diversity is important in our society today especially in math. Everyone is a diverse learner and it's time to take into consideration as to how we understand. Recognizing that diverse thinking and teaching occurs in the classroom will help students understand themselves and their peers. This in return will give opportunities for students to make connections and go beyond the simple math. As schools are becoming larger and there are a wide range of diverse students, teachers need to be more accommodating to the students. The academy here in Mathematica will bring students together of all ability levels, gender, race and class to work towards one goal. Accepting that "We are all the same and we are all different" The leaders are well qualified and know how students think and understand. Mathematica and the Academy work to show students that math can be fun and interesting and that we all are different when it comes to how to solve a problem. There are several missions that help you, the Math Blasters see this relational and diverse aspect of mathematics.
