93. 朝 (アッ・ドハー) Ad-Duha
سورة الضحى
マッカ啓示 11節
章の説明:
本章はイスラームの光が次第に広まることを象徴する第1節の語にちなみ，朝章と名付けられる。マッカ最初期の啓示である。本章では人間の精神生活上の変遷が述べられ，アッラーの慈悲で人間の魂に賜わる希望と慰安の消息，ならびに善を追求する隠されている性能に関して記される。これは聖預言者の外的生活が暗いころ啓示されたものであるから，その意味は大である。およそ人間が決断力に欠けているときは落胆し易いものである。それで現在は，輝かしい来世（将来）よりも劣ると考えるように告げられ，ここにかれは静寂な夜の後の，輝かしい朝のように目覚めさせられたのである。

In the Name of Allâh, the Most
Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
1. 朝（の輝き）において，
By the forenoon (after sun-rise);[]
2. 静寂な夜において（誓う）。
And by the night when it is still (or darkens);
3. 主は，あなたを見捨てられず，憎まれた訳でもない。
Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you.
4. 本当に来世（将来）は，あなたにとって現世（現在）より，もっと良いのである。
And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world).
5. やがて主はあなたの満足するものを御授けになる。
And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased.
6. かれは孤児のあなたを見付けられ，庇護なされたではないか。
Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge?
7. かれはさ迷っていたあなたを見付けて，導きを与え。
And He found you unaware (of the Qur'ân, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you?
8. また貧しいあなたを見付けて，裕福になされたではないか。
And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)?
9. だから孤児を虐げてはならない。
Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression,
10. 請う者を揆ね付けてはならない。
And repulse not the beggar;
11. あなたの主の恩恵を宣べ伝えるがいい。
And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces).
