102. 蓄積 (アッ・タカースル) At-Takâthur

マッカ啓示 8節
章の説明:
貪欲な蓄積のために，人間の真の目的から迷い去る者に対する警告である。こんな者は災難によって覚醒させ，救うほかない場合が多い。この点前章と密接な関係がある。ここに述べられることは，この世では事実根絶し得ない問題である。本章はマッカ最初期の啓示に属する。
慈悲あまねく慈愛深きアッラーの御名において。
In the Name of Allâh, the Most
Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
1. あなたがたは（財産や息子などの）多いことを張り合って，現を抜かす。
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you,
2. 墓に追い立てられるまでも。
Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die).
3. いや，やがて（死後）あなたがたは（その真実を）知ろう。
Nay! You shall come to know!
4. もう一度言おうか，いや，やがてあなたがたは知ろう。
Again, Nay! You shall come to know!
5. いや，あなたがたは（今に）はっきり知るとよいのである。
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things)
6. あなたがたは必ず獄火を見よう。
Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
7. その時あなたがたはそれを明確に目で見ることであろう。
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
8. その日あなたがたは，（現を抜かしていた）享楽に就いて，必ず問われるであろう。
Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight[] (you indulged in, in this world)!
