FAQs about Nontraditional College

• How much will this cost?  Many online degrees can be earned for under $10,000 total.
• How fast can I earn a degree?  Depending on the amount of time you can devote to studying, a full four year degree can be earned in two years.
• Can I work a full time job and earn a B.S. or a B.A.?  Yes.  It will be tough, but very possible.
• Is there an age minimum or maximum?  No.  You can start earning college credit as soon as you know how to operate a computer and know basic test taking skills.

  Once the degree and school have been decided upon, your coach will assist you in developing a “course of action”, helping you set achievable yearly, monthly, weekly, and even daily educational goals.

  3.      Accelerated Learning Skills
  One of the keys to completing your studies in a timely manner is possessing Accelerated Learning Skills. After you have completed self-study courses in the areas of memory, reading, and writing, your coach will provide you with personalized assistance in applying these skills to your studies.

  4.      Life Purpose Planning
  With the dynamic Life Purpose Planning Workbook (lifepurposeplanning.org), you will evaluate where you discern God is calling you, write a Biblical life purpose statement, and create personalized plans and goals to guide you in the days ahead. With oversight from your coach and parents, you will design a plan of action in clear tangible steps to carry out the purposes God has revealed to you.

  5.      Subject Specific Study Recommendations
  Your coach will provide you with specific titles of textbooks that we have found most helpful in preparing for the exams you will be taking.

  6.      Support
  Once the initial plan and schedule is set, biweekly phone meetings will be set for you and your coach to review the past 2 weeks and set goals for the weeks to come.
