Hi, my name is Savanna Troupe. A few years ago, I was a middle school student with big dreams too. But the odds were against me... I grew up as the oldest of nine children in a single parent family, and no one in my family had gone to college. I knew that even if I could get IN to college, my family couldn't afford to pay for it. But I never gave up on my dream! My teachers helped me get good grades and take the right classes during middle and high school. When it came time to apply to college, I took every chance to get scholarships, grants and work my way to the top!!

Today, my most prized possession is my college diploma (and my Diamondbacks shoes! I'm a total sports nut!). And if I did it, you can do it too!
