As a first-generation college graduate, Savanna's goal is to ensure that every individual with the desire to attain a postsecondary education has the opportunity and the personal, financial, and academic support they need to succeed. She has spent the last four years volunteering with various organizations whose work focus on dropout prevention, academic preparation, and postsecondary options. She has worked with students from all walks of life; low-income, at risk, and troubled students from 5th through 12th grade.

Savanna is available to visit schools, after school and summer programs, or private clubs for presentations. She will tailor the presentation to the size of your group and the specific needs and interests of your students.

College is Possible: Savanna's story of perseverance and beating the odds to become a first generation college graduate is meant to inspire a generation of leaders.

Academic Preparation: as a tutor for 4 years and aspiring middle school math teacher, Savanna emphasizes the importance of working hard and taking the right, challenging classes to set students up for successful college admissions

College application and financial aid workshops (best for groups of 30 or less)
In these presentation, Savanna discusses with students the options for colleges and finding the right fit, where to get application materials, what to expect, and what information to gather. She can also cover the options available for students to finance any college experience. She discusses the information needed to fill out a FAFSA, where to look for scholarships, and the differences between types of funding
