11/1/2007 Moving On
Yes, folks the time has come, I have moved yet again, away from here on to here. I hope that the new place will be better kept up, we'll see.

7/16/2007  What a girl wants

So, I'll make a deal with you...I want my boyfriend back.
There is my side, what's yours?  Will you talk me out of buying a saab? Will you ask me to make a cake? Make me bring you back a present form San Diego or the Gilroy Garlic Festival?
Never mind, I shall wait it out, maybe. I shall share a picture of him with a pot on his head.  I miss him, I am pathetic.

6/26/2007 I'm a blog! LABEL ME!

Does the picture of the add on the left strike you as an effective mortgage add? Honestly? What the hell is that? When you click the baby the header changes to "find a new crib". I found this on a page, screen shot it and cleaned it up to show you here.  I broke the law, because this add bothers me, a lot.  I am sure Rate Marketplace is a fine company with a great service...however which genius convinced them that this add would generate business? Click through, absolutely, but new mortgage sales?  I am not inspired by this. (The baby's text bubble tells you the current rates, just so you know.) Cute imagery is fine in advertising, but this baby looks worried, like he is coerced to do this, or confused like he is trying to figure out what he has to do with financing someone else's home. I sure am.

6/15/2007 I am not odd
Ok, so I am going to share a dream gift with you.  This is also just something that I dream of owning.  I believe it is highly cool and want to put it on my wall.  Here we go...

That is a narwhal skull, with tusk attached! How neat is that? You can find it at skulls unlimited.  I costs between $850 & $1000 depending if you get the stand (you should get the stand). Yeah, so you lottery winners in my life, now you know what I need.
P.S. I also would like a walrus baculum. (look it up, really)

6/14/2007 Not A Habit Yet

Second day in a row! Record, no. Joy, maybe.
So here's the deal, I am contemplating migrating my site, again.  You see, googlepages is good, but not sufficient.  The major fault...lack of comments. I wish to have the ability to have comments, and I should be able to turn them off.  Also, I kind of want something a little more automated in terms of my entries...I am a lazy archivist.  However, I want something less automated in terms of formatting.  I want to also post more pictures and want that to magically take care of itself.  I also wish to be lazy about all of it.  I want to be happy with my blog for more than 15 months.

Am I wishing for the impossible?  Should I just give in and start from scratch? (nope, not gonna happen just yet)

6/13/2007 Tale of Woe

See the fuzzy picture of the fuzzy beast in the life jacket?  I am dramatically going to call it "the last picture my camera ever took".  It's extra dramatic because it technically isn't the last picture, just the last picture I appreciate (except for the out of focus thing).  You see my camera decided that if a dog in a life vest could swim, so could a camera-and in it went! (This is not my fault, sentient cameras can be pretty damn slippery) Being smarter than a sentient digital camera, I quickly rescued it from the water, took it's batteries and card out, shook it a bit and set it in my pocket. We got home, the superhero of a boyfriend opened it up, dried it the best he could and set it out to dry.  But alas! It was too late for my dear camera, it was dead.  Corrosion (that evil doer) had attacked a motor and the screen.
So I bought a new camera, the end.
(Not really, I bought a better camera and I think this one will not be sentient-but may be smarter than me)
As for the fuzzy beast...Roxanne has a swimming problem.  When she is in the water, she refuses to use her hind legs, this leads to her hind parts sinking, which makes her front parts tend in the underwater direction as well.  Seeing as how we like her (and do not wish her to drown) and swimming is great exercise and this way we can force to to swim-Matt got her a life jacket.  It has a handle on top so we can just toss her in the water (which we never do) and I think it is ridiculous and great.

5/24/2007 Not My Fault
Ok, so here's the thing.  I was and am totally dedicated to posting more often.  Googlepages, on the other hand seems to think that this is a bad idea. For the past month, every time I tried to update, all I got was a page o' white and no data.  Bad google.  I knew that my pages still existed because, I could stare longingly at them, I just couldn't update them.  Yep. Sucked.
Anyway, now I am back, head-cold besotted and sniffly, but here.  I have many a saga to tell about the past month.  Like how I got hit by a car (I'm fine, don't worry) and why AT&T is never getting my money ever again (and how I wish I could eat my words on that one).  For now, though. I just wanted to promise you that I'm still around and mostly healthy.
