Quebec City House

Master bedroom on the 3rd floor (king bed).

Located in Quebec City's upper town, this 250 year old house offers a superb setting to relax and explore Old Quebec. The house was built in 1752 by French Marines only a few years before the British conquest of New France in 1759. In fact, the original owner of this house (Louise-Charlotte Metivier) was the sister of the original owner of the twin house next door (Marie-Josephte Metivier). Step back in time and imagine what life was like in 18th century New France !

There are 3 floors plus the basement. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are located on the ground floor with a bedroom, the bathroom, and the mezzanine on the 2nd floor. There is a working fireplace in the living room. The 3rd floor is the master bedroom with views of surrounding buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. There is a small finished bedroom in the basement together with a storage/laundry area.

There is a parking space behind the house that can also be used as a backyard/patio during the summer.
