Welcome to our new club site!

Well, actually, welcome to a site that is a demonstration of a site built with Google Sites.

The 'Web Design' section is a supplement to the free pdf download which is available at 'Build a web site for your club' by Quantock Online, a community web-site established in 2000 for the Quantock Hills area of Somerset.

The aim is to give guidance to the complete novice on how to build a web site that will allow several people to simply add and modify content using Google Sites - no nasty coding needed, not much more than just basic word processing skills.

OK, it's all there in help system, and there is even a video introduction by Google that allows you to have a play with some of the basics - but, to begin with, it's sometimes nicer to have a piece of paper in your hand with step by step instructions.
