WHAT IS QUALITY?
A product or service has three important parameters which determine
it's salebility: price, quality and delivery. Customers want services
and products of a given quality to be available and delivered by a
given time and with a price which reflects value for money. Quality is
defined as conformance to specifications(requirements) and NOT as
"goodness" or "elegance" or degree of excellence(see dictionaries). A
product or service either conforms to its specification or not. Some
other popular definitions of Quality may help to understand the meaning
of it:
