Adult World Team Tennis for Adults ages 18 and up is now in full swing this summer.
WTT is co-ed teams competing in a format of 6 no-ad sets. One set each of men’s and women’s doubles, men’s and women’s’ singles, and ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determine the winner. Substitutes and coaching are allowed during the match. Match play begins in early June with 3.0 teams playing on Monday and 3.5 teams playing on Thursday. We are able to play WTT at Quail Hollow since the format is only two courts at a time.

QHSC has a very active year-round tennis program from beginners “munchkins” through adult Our program includes summer lessons for juniors; clinics for adults; tournaments at both the junior and adult level; club championships; junior and adult teams year-round- and much more.
Court reservations are strongly recommended and can be made on the tennis information board near the courts under the clubhouse deck. |

CLINIC GUIDELINES

Clinic size is limited A minimum of six (6) players is required with a maximum of eight (8) for one instructor. Additional instructors maybe used with a larger clinic

First-come with payment, first served. Reservations for a spot in the clinic will be held for those who submit form and full payment only. Drop forms in clubhouse office mail slot. Make all checks payable to "QHSC".

Adult clinics are for individuals age 16 and up.

Rain outs will be rescheduled when possible. Those not able to be rescheduled will result in a refund or credit to apply to future clincs. Please confirm rainouts by coming to the courts at the scheduled time.

Members have priority sign-ups until three (3) days prior to the start of the clinic.

You will be notified a clinic is canceled or if you are placed on a waiting list.

Please be prompt to all clinics as a courtesy to our staff and other clinic members.

Junior Lessons
Our instructors offer a variety of tennis lessons for varying ability. It is the perfect way to introduce your child to the great sport of tennis. Summer lessons are typically offered in 2-week sessions. Fall and spring lessons are offered after school.

Junior Team Tennis
QHSC fields junior teams in Fall, Spring and Summer leagues. All junior teams play has a developmental focus and is great league experience for young players. Non-members are invited to play on off-season teams.

TENNIS BALL MACHINE RENTAL INFORMATION
Rental prices: $12 per hour
Ball Machine Club - Annual rates: $99 up to 3 times per week for one hour in season or 90 minutes out of season
- Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Lessons, clinics, and other scheduled court activities are given priority over ball machine use.
- Email the club at ballmachine@quailhollowswimandtennis.com to reserve the ball machine.
- Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance in the off season and 24 hours in season.
- Reservations can be made up to one week in advance.
- The Ball Machine Club Member or Paying Member must be on the court hitting during the reservation time.
- Guests can be with the member. (Either club members or non-members out of season)
- Club members only in season.
- You are responsible for signing up court #2 for the machine.
- Fees must be paid before the machine is used.
- In season is defined as during the time that the pool is open, generally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
- Any damage to the ball machine is the responsibility of the member using the machine.
