Period 5 Spanish II

WEEKLY SCHEDULE For May 26 - May 29
 
Monday - Friday:  This week, we will be reviewing many of the tenses and things we have learned this year.  Each pair of partners will present a topic in front of the class and do an activity with that topic.  Also, we will be reading picture books bilingually.  I have both the Spanish and English for many picture books, and we may be reading some of those to the elementary classroom.  We will see the 6-3 DVD of the Otavalo market.

Monday, May 11 - Nick F. - We worked on a demonstrative adjective activity based on page 425 Activity 3.  See Sra. Q. for the handout.  We learned the ordinal numbers in Spanish, from "first - primero" to "tenth - decimo."  Read page 418 in the text and do Activity 12 on page 418 orally.  Do activities 16 and 17 on page 143 in the workbook.  We will have a writing over demonstrative adjectives and prepositions tomorrow. 
Thursday, May 14 - Nate B. - We introduced the future tense in Spanish and did some activities using the future tense.  See Sra. Q. for the packet.  We played vocabulary BINGO.  
Monday, May18 - Nick F., Lauren H. - We learned the "conditional tense" in Spanish.  We did several activites with this tense.  See Sra. Q. for this packet. 
Tuesday, May 19 - Nick F. - We went over the "conditional tense" sheet to make sure that the answers were correct.  We did a "Buscaoraciones," a "Sentence Search" with conditional and future tense.  These were turned in for a participation grade.  The quiz over the two new tenses will be Friday and the writing will be Thursday.
Wednesday, May 20 - Nick F. - We played HOLA, (like BINGO) to work on the irregular future and conditional verbs.  The writing over future and conditional will be tomorrow and the conjugation quiz will be on Friday.
Thursday, May 21 - Kevin S. - We took the regular and irregular future and conditional writing.  Quiz over the regular and irregular future tense tomorrow.
