Period 4 Spanish II

WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR May 26 - May 29
 
Monday - Friday:  This week, we will be reviewing many of the tenses and things we have learned this year.  Each pair of partners will present a topic in front of the class and do an activity with that topic.  Also, we will be reading picture books bilingually.  I have both the Spanish and English for many picture books, and we may be reading some of those to the elementary classroom.  We will see the 6-3 DVD of the Otavalo market.

Thursday, May 21 - Bethany B., Sydnee H. - We took the regular and irregular future and conditional writing.  Quiz over the regular and irregular future tense tomorrow.
Friday, May 22 - Sydnee H. - We took the regular and irregular future and conditional conjugation quiz.  We talked about U6E3 and what we plan to do next week.
Tuesday, May 26 - Sydnee H. - We handed out the final study guide.  We also handed out a review assignment for each pair of partners to do in front of the class for a participatory grade.  We will also assign books for partners to read bilingually with the elementary or in our own class. 
Wednesday, May 27 - Cady H. - We worked on our presentations and a few teachers requested that a couple of students read elementary picture books to their students bilingually.  We discussed that for a little while.  We had an excellent presentation on the "imperfect tense" by Lindsay Allen and Andrea Thurow. 
Thursday, May 28 - Steve E. - We had some presentations today and the students who are reading to the elementary practiced the whole period.  They recorded their last reading in the tape recorder.
