MAKE-UP WORK IS BELOW THE WEEKLY SCHEDULE. WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR May 26 - May 29
We will be finishing U3E3 this week. We will review stem-changing verbs and have a writing over them this week. We will also learn about making comparisons in Spanish. We will learn the verb "saber " - to know. We will learn a few more conversational phrases that will be included on the final. We will learn some new vocabulary from the new unit, U4E1. We will be reviewing "ser" and "estar" for the final, as well.
Monday, May 18 - Jenna D., Deanna J., Cooper H. Samantha F. - We did a practice spelling quiz for the quiz tomorrow. We did a sports' activity on a handout. See me for the handout. We saw the DVD for "En Contexto." We will see the DVD again tomorrow.
Tuesday, May 19 - Noah B., Amanda M., LeClare T., Cameron T. - We took the quiz over the sports' vocabulary. We watched the DVD and did an activity over what we saw.
Thursday, May 21 - Jenna D., Ashton P. - We did two classroom activities over stem-changing verbs. The first one was a photocopy sheet that you will need to get from Sra. Q. The second one you cannot make-up. It was a stem-changing "scavenger hunt" that we did with the "En Vivo" DVD.
Tuesday, May 26 - Emilee L., Reagan G., Amanda M. - We graded the Actividades over stem-changing verbs in the text, pages 198 Actividad 5; 200 Actividad 9; 208 Actividad 2 and the workbook pages, pages 69 Actividad 11 and 70 Actividades 14, 15, and 16. We learned how to do comparisons in Spanish. Read page 202 in the text and do Actividades 15 and 16, page 203, on your own piece of paper. Turn this paper in to Sra. Q. Also, see Sra. Q. for a handout on comparisons. We also handed out the study guides for the final. See Sra. Q. for one of these.
Wednesday, May 27 - Emilee L. - We reviewed the words for comparison orally by making sentences in Spanish that compared people and sports. Then we filled out an "HOLA" sheet with the "yo" and "nosotros" forms of all the stem-changing verbs except "jugar." We played "HOLA" for about 25 minutes. We will have a writing tomorrow over the stem-changing verbs.
Thursday, May 28 - Emilee L. - We handed out the sheet for the conversational things that will be on the final. We played several rounds of "Stem-changing Verbs " Bingo. Tomorrow, we will do the stem-changing verbs' writing.
Friday, May 29 - Emilee L., Cameron T., Deanna J. - We did the writing with stem-changing verbs. We gave out study aids for the final. You will need to do your writing Monday. |
