Kings of Queen
review Stoney Stanton Club 01/05/2010 Wow what a show these guys
put on I was just blown away by how good they were, right from the
opening
note of One Vision these guys just had it! And it was so nice to hear
such a varied set list with songs such as Good old fashioned lover boy,
I Want it All, It’s a Hard life and These are the days of our lives
being thrown out from nowhere powered by superb Vocalist David Kinghorn
who was just belting out hit after hit with such precision and
dedication
and also a great love for Freddie himself. He was backed by a very
powerful
fully live band as well with an amazing Brian May who was playing all
the songs in their original keys and had one hell of a mean set up with
his mannerisms and stage presence being very much like Brian as well
it really took me back to my days as a guitar player when my band
were together. The new drummer was absolutely
outstanding as well despite only being with the band since January but
he really had Roger down to a tee even vocal wise and it’ll be
interesting
to see where they go with him and here’s hoping I’m in Love with
my Car appears in they’re set list very soon. As a whole band it was a very
tight outfit with a fantastic light show to match! Freddie would have
been very proud of these guys Review submitted by James Starbuck |
