As part of our objective to promote the art of lion dance, we take every opportunity to increase our knowledge and enhance our skills, and also to share our art with others. One of the ways we do this is by organising workshops, either conducted by ourselves or a overseas expert like Master H.P. Siow.

Our most recent workshop was conducted by Master H.P. Siow and held at Auckland on 21-23 of March 2009. Teams from Auckland,  Napier, Hamilton and Christchurch attended. Beside getting to learn from a world leading lion dance expert, participants were also able to share toughts and experience with other lion dancers, fostering a sense of community between teams. On this occasion the Chinese Poll Tax Trust has been instrumental in the success of the workshop.
