 In the Section Academics, I shortly describe my academic career, which is based on two pillars: Computational Biology and Philosophy. On the corresponding subpages, you will find my theses, lecture notes, publications, papers from classes and software. Since I actively conduct cancer research by means of computational biology, this section contains many more current materials than the section of Philosophy, which I only studied. For a couple of cities, I've either been visiting or living in, I collected a few things to do: go the corresponding 'Good Life' section. I mainly collect information about cultural places and events (besides the once which you can find in any travel guide), sport possibilities and other recreational activities. One of the most inspiring things in my life is traveling. Therefore, I try to travel as much and often as possible to delve into different cultures, hike in different nature and dive to see new aquatic life. For my first two journeys, I wrote travel reports mainly for my grandparents (thus, they are in German). About my biggest journey through Central America, Colombia, Brazil and Cuba, I have written down my impressions in my blog. Finally, I traveled the Route 66 with my parents who wrote a (German) travel diary with many paintings/drawings of my mother. Furthermore, I'm creating a page for Diving with pictures including information about dive spots I visited and recommendations for dive centers. There are a few more pages at the moment, Movies, Music, Literature and 'Everyday's Truths' - but they are pretty much under construction for the time being...
