During my research of various online money makers, I uncovered many legitimate and free sites that offer you money to simply fill out surveys, read emails, invite friends, try out products, and more.  Since these kinds of sites mostly offer surveys, many people refer to them as "paid survey sites."  They can also be called GPT, or get paid to, sites.

Companies are smart.  They know that today’s consumers tune out television ads and gloss over ads in magazines, etc.  So in order to find out how to have effective advertising, they survey consumers.  But today’s savvy consumers hang up on annoying telemarketers and throw out junk mail surveys.  Therefore, companies know that they must provide incentives to get your opnions.  This is why there are now so many legitimate sites that pay you for completing surveys. 

These can be great ways for people with limited computer skills to earn money.  The payout may seem small at first, but if you build up referrals under you, you make a portion of what they make.  Your earnings, once you have referrals under you, can be over $1,000 with Cash Crate and around $300-$800 with many of the others.

I highly suggest that you create a free email account  that you use only for these survey site, because your inbox will be flooded with junk mail.  I have a free gmail account (offered by Google) that I use just for GPT and sweepstakes sites.  There are many sites that offer free email:  Google, Hotmail, and Yahoo are just a few of your many options.

There are many, many GPT sites to choose from.  The ones that I discuss on this page are all 100% free to register with.  So, feel free to try them alll and decide which ones you like the best. 

Cash Crate

This site offers more 100% free paid surveys than any other site I’ve found and they pay super fast by check (for example, I received my November check on December 11).  The minimum payout is lower than with most GPT sites.  All you need to accumulate is $10 and they'll cut you a check.  

The best feature about this site is that you can filter the surveys so that only the ones that are 100% free are displayed.  Another huge bonus with Cash Crate is that they have a great referral program.  You can make a lot of money with them if you build up referrals under you.

With Cash Crate, be sure to check your email.  Some of the surveys require that you click on an email confermation.

Send Earnings and Inbox Dollars

These sites also offer paid surveys.  You get two 100% free and very short surveys a day.  They also have  many offers for pay–I’m sure you’ve seen them before.  They require you join a music club, book club, order something, subscribe to a magazine, etc.  That’s fine if you planned on buying the item(s) any way.  But, if you didn’t want the items or the club, then just ignore those offers to maximize your earnings. 

These sites also send you emails.  This is the quickest way I’ve found to earn money online.  All you have to do is open the emails and click the button at the bottom that says you’ve read the email and they credit your account with money.  I seem to get a couple of these paid emails a day from each site.  I make about $10 a week with each of these sites (spending less than 10 minutes a day with it and with no referrals yet).  The only reason why these are slower payers than Cash Crate is that they don’t offer as many 100% free surveys.  But, you can go back each day and do your free daily ones.

Snap Dollars

Snap Dollars gives you $5 just for signing up.  They offer an awesome referral program too.  They give you $5 for every person that you get to sign up for Snap Dollars and they give you an additional 10% of everything that your referrals earn!  There minimum payout is $30.

Fusion Cash 

Fusion Cash is a GPT/Paid Survey site that has a lot of different surveys and offers to choose from.  Be sure to clear out your cookies each time you visit the site, before you start the surveys so that they will clear with this site.  Also, you will need to turn down your internet security settings all the way down to low with this site. 

Fusion Cash will pay via check, PayPal, or direct deposit.  They have a minimum payout of $25 and give you a $5 sign up bonus and have a great referral program.  Sign up for your free account by clicking the banner below.

Cash Ninjas

Cash Ninjas is yet another legitimate paid survey site.  They have many surveys and paid offers.  They will pay via check, PayPal, or gift card and have a super low minimum payout of $15.

Yuwie Pays You to Blog

Yuwie sounds to good to be true, but it is for real.  It works much like MySpace.  It's a lot of fun.  A free account gives you a profile page and a free blog.  You can blog, upload pictures, etc.  You can keep your page private, sharing only with friends and family, or make it public.  But, unlike MySpace, Yuwie pays you everytime you view or post to your page.  They also pay you everytime someone else views your page.

It sounds crazy, but what they do is make money for their site through advertising...and yes, some of their ads are AdSense ads.  The more people that view the ads they run, the more they can charge for advertising space.  So, they figure that if they offer their users a small percentage of their advertising revenue they will in turn get more viewers and then make more money.
