 Full membership entitles use of club equipment, and the docks and participation in club events at no additional cost (excluding the Green Mountain Head). All members must have previous rowing experience and be a competent swimmer. In addition all members must have completed an equipment orientation and a local river orientation before rowing. Private boat storage is available but limited.
It is important to note PRC is a member-run organization. All members are expected to contribute regularly to management, maintenance, operation and repair of the facilities and equipment. This may include professional skills (law, accounting, management, etc.), trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and rowing skills (coaching, orientation, boat repair, sculling certification, regatta management, etc.). Periodic member workdays are scheduled throughout the year.
Our liability insurance does not cover non-members' use of PRC equipment and docks. Use of Club docks by non-members requires prior approval by PRC Board. The following is the Fee Schedule for the 2009 season: Returning Members (before May 1st): $150.00
Returning Members (after May 1st): $175.00
New Members; $150.00
Student Membership: $75.00
Family Membership: $300.00
Supporting Membership (no voting, rowing or equipment usage privileges): $25.00
Beginner Clinic Fee: $150.00
Beginner Membership (immediately following clinic): $100
Guest Fee (daily - approved by Board - Seasonal Limit): $5.00
Rack Fee: $50/boat (spaces limited)
Supplemental RowBOC/PRC membership (allows equipment, dock and rowing privileges at both clubs - must be full member at one club): $75.00
