2012 PRC Rowing Program

Rowing offers many benefits, from fitness to socializing to recreation. And it’s never too late to start!

The Putney Rowing Club has members of all ages and from all walks of life.

Some took up the sport for the first time as an adult; others have been rowing since high school.

Each clinic will offer 14 1/2 hours of instruction. Participants must successfully complete 12 hours to

become members of the club. The first two sessions are mandatory. Weather and river conditions can

sometimes require the rescheduling of sessions so there is some need of flexibility.

Saturday, June 2  8:00 - 11:00 am  Introduction on the water

Saturday, June 9  8:00 - 10:00 am

Tuesday, Thursday June 12,14    5:30 - 7:30 pm

 Saturday, June 16  8:00 - 11:00 am

All clinic sessions will take place on the Connecticut River at the PRC boathouse and docks adjacent to the Putney Landing. The cost of the clinic is $150.
