Members of the Putney School Rowing Program - Fall 2011

Putney Rowing Club (PRC) is a small but active rowing club located on the banks of the Connecticut River in southeastern, Vermont. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rowing opportunities within the local area. Members have access to Club owned boats and equipment. Two modest boat houses provide rack space for members with their own boats. PRC offers learn to row clinics, training for more experienced rowers and is the host of the annual Green Mountain Head. The majority of the Club members row in single or double shells (two oars per person). PRC also offers opportunities to row sweep boats (one oar per person) and group rows in Quads. As a small non-profit all members are encouraged to run for Club offices, as well as volunteer time at Club events and work days. Club dues are used to maintain and upgrade the Club's equipment and to promote the sport of rowing. Please browse our site to learn more about who we are and how to join.
