 Welcome to the web site for Purple Cats, a Sheffield-based community choir which welcomes everyone who wants to sing for pleasure. Songs are taught in the natural voice manner. There is no need to be able to read music and there are no auditions.
We sing in the Nave at St Mary's community centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield S2 4QZ. This is a wonderful place to sing with superb acoustics. Purple Cats usually meet every Tuesday evening including half-term (7:30 - 9:45 pm). You don't need to pay for membership, or for more than one week at a time. New term begins April 17th 2012 (note that we will not meet June 5th due to the Jubilee holiday) |
