In the early 50's while passing through Phoenix, AZ, Little Jimmy Dickens met a then unknown radio singer by the name of Martin Robinson. He was impressed by Martin's raw talent and set up a meeting in Nashville with Colombia Record's Producer; Don Law.
Don Law was quick to sign the young man and soon after in early 1953, Martin then began going by the name "Marty Robbins" and acquired stardom and a fan base the world over.
Marty was an artist that could write, sing, and entertain at the top of his profession.
