Pure and UnCUT
are short movies with the POV or point of view of real people daily lives. The concept is taken from the movie "Strange Days" Check out the first opening scene from the movie.
However, it would be impossible to give a real person a steadicam and have them go about their life. To make this possible, I have spend over 10 years perfecting smaller stabilization devices first used with camcorders, as you can see in the this ActionCAM video demo is produced in 2001

Seen above is the ActionCAM i invented, complete Sony VX2000, BMX handle and Wireless Video Transmitter
The carbon plate is then strapped using 1" nylon straps that crisscross behind a person back and is then tighten. SInce the plate is the same shap of the chest bone, the plate is actually very comfortable to wear. In the center of the plate is a 1/4-20" bolt, supports basically any type of swivel camera head. There is also a 360 degree internal rubber anti-shock ring inside of the carbon plate that takes out the last bit of vibration. A Canon Power Shot 630 is then mounted to the swivel head allowing to adjust the camera angle. The result is a perfect steady camera shot from the persons point of view.
For an alternative view of using a small megapixel camera, I also invented the "CAMERAMAN", a pole
type of stabilization device. Check out my experimental videos here
