My KP60 + 7A-GE Project

The process in pictures...

This was the first attempt with the clutch, I used a Honda Civic master cylinder and the original KP clutch pedal. Due to the angle the pump seized working few days later.  For the current set up, scroll down...

Update! 13.08.2010

The new and final version of the hydraulic clutch set up:
Utilizing the pedal mechanism of a Celica Supra MA61
and a master cylinder from a Corolla AE92

basically made up a piece of 1.5mm sheet metal, cut out part of the car, and welded
the new piece on the car.  This way I could control where my pedal will be.
My driver's door almost straightened up by my body batter.

Project has been going on slow, as I also have my AE86 for cosmetic fixing...

removing scratches, dents etc. Here is some pics of it:

Meanwhile I am driving my Celica Supra MA61 :), and loving it!

Update 14.08.2010

Today I finished the upper bracket of the clutch pedal

Which was then welded on the car, and now the clutch is basically
a copy of the Celica Supra MA61, but most of all it fits really well in the Starlet, so I suggest you use it for your upgrade.

still some work to be done on the Starlet , but getting closer to the end :)
the holes which came out after removing the rear windows

now fixed
The rusty rear left shock absorber tower, now fixed.

A nice modification: I use the bracket which used to hold the external voltage regulator, to hold the ignitor and coil.

...the 4A-GE in my AE86.
