This is essentially a Twitter landing-page (I'm @pumpkinshirt on Twitter) for anyone interested in more than my brief bio. (And now, my Ping bio on iTunes leads here.)
I'm Lain Hughes, I live in Jackson, Mississippi. I teach at Jackson Preparatory School and am a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. I am an alumnus of Jackson Prep (yes, I'm teaching at my old high school), the University of Mississippi, and the University of Georgia. I am married to Jessica Leigh Long. On November 11, 2010, we had our first child, a boy named Baxter.
I can be reached at pumpkinshirt@gmail.com and can be found on Facebook, but I should note that if you're a current Prep student, I'm not going to "friend" you until you graduate. Sorry about that. One more reason to stay in school, kids!
I have some material in David Pogue's book The World According To Twitter, and I'm thanked in my friend David Hitt's wonderful book about Skylab, Homesteading Space. David and I also are the creators of a webcomic called Hatbag. Two collections of the strip are available for purchase. Could I put some links here in case you want to buy them? Why, yes!

My Picasa photographs are visible here. Stuff I've posted on Instagram is also on a Tumblr page. Yeah, I know.
If you're the type of generous person who wants to buy me a gift (hi, Mom!), here's my Amazon.com Wish List.
