Annual General Meeting 2009

Annual General Meeting of PULISAA will be held on Sunday 21^st June 2009 at Jayakar library. The agenda of the meeting is as follows : 

1.    Confirmation and signing of the minutes of the meeting of the PULISAA held on 24^th Feb. 2008

2.    To read and adopt the Annual report of PULISAA for the year 2008-2009.

3.    To read and adopt the accounts of PULISAA for the year 2007-2008.

4.    To consider the budget estimates for the year 2009-2010.

5.    To consider the activities to be undertaken by PULISAA in the coming year (2009-2010).

6.    Any other item with the permission of the chairman.

The AGM will be followed by a special lecture by Dr. Dhanashree Date, TCS, Mumbai on “Core Competencies for LIS professionals in the knowledge society.  Her focus has always been on developing core competencies required by LIS professionals at TCS.   Her lecture will be useful for not only to corporate librarians but also for academic librarians and especially for LIS freshers.
