Would you like to learn how to prepare your talks in half  the time it usually takes?

        In this workshop you’ll learn how to  

          • Deal with nervousness
          • Organize your talks more effectively,
          • Improve your verbal and non-verbal presenting skills
          • Prepare material for a variety of audiences (scientific and non-science listeners)
          • Avoid “Death by PowerPoint” and
          • Thrill your audiences!

        In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get many opportunities to PRACTICE in front of your peers, and you’ll receive individual coaching from Andi. 



ABOUT ANDI:

Dr. Andi O’Conor has a PhD in Educational Policy and Practice, and has been on the faculty of the University of Colorado at Boulder and Ohio University.  She has been teaching speaking skills since 1984, and specializes in helping scientific professionals give more lively and compelling presentations. Previous workshop participants have included scientists and staff from,
