I’m never a fan of Nemesis Prime at any given toy line when he appeared. Well, pretty much he is just a black repaint of Optimus prime and that usually bored me. Originally I bought WFC Optimus Prime for the sake of cheap price. Then got WFC Megatron to accompany with him. Later these two are really lonely and got isolated from my two (classics and movie) collection lines (Soundwave already joined classics), so I customed and painted Megatron to Galvatron to join my classics Decepticons group. That left Optimus along, again. Instead of putting him on eBay, I started another project. Make him change side and become Nemesis Prime. Kids never like this idea. My daughter even called me “mean to a toy” because I turned Optimus Prime to evil. My son didn’t like it either initially but later he was kind of looking forward to it. Hey! It’s my toy, so I can decide what to do with it, right? Gave him a straight repaint and kind of based on Armada Nemesis Prime’s color scheme. Also cut off that annoying cab hanging on his back in robot mode. It is still attachable in vehicle mode. Didn’t do anything on the Autobot mark on his back, though. Later when I figured I should do something with it, it was kind of too late. But at least it isn’t easily being seen and it doesn’t even look that much like an Autobot sign. The original gun is donated to other toys who need a gun more. The back/shoulder rockets are the missiles from KO Ramjet. Give him two new weapons (donated from Gundam model Gouf Custom, that figure is really tearing apart now), a sword and arm machine/chain gun. Here we go, enjoy the pictures.
For some reason after I've finished this project, I thought a little story about this so I made a figure based comic. Hopefully that will make you laugh a little bit. Enjoy.
