Initially I didn't think about buying this movie Prime, even though knowing this is a best figure ever to represent the Prime

in the movie. The reason is simple, there will be a third movie, so there will be a third Prime. Until I saw an article that

changes my mind. It said: "There will be only one Jetpower Optimus Prime." True, since this is really a good figure, since I

hate so much about the after market rip off internet price. So in case I change my mind in the future (or the third movie

Prime sucks) and have to live through the pain of searching from internet, I get it now. The result? Yes, he is that good, I

never regret.

 

No need to say OP's alternate mode, this truck is just perfect. Any color and details are just right. All the robot parts are

well hidden, even hard to tell when seeing from the bottom. The truck nose is a little bit longer than the real truck but is

okay. The only problem I have for this truck is the rear wheels. Due to the transformation, they should find a way to

steady them instead of having to line them up all the time after some movement. Here is a little fun, since his sun blocks

are on a ball joint, even in the truck mode, it can rotate for any angle. So putting on the eyes, I can represent the angry

look like the Disney Cars (see picture below).

 

The transformation is almost the best I've ever seen. It's complex (and frustrating in the beginning) and logical. I've seen

his transformation in the movie so many times and this transformation I say is very close to what he has in the movie.

The robot mode looks much better in front of you than from the pictures. When looking at him from front, it almost

represents Prime's movie look. When looking from side or back, the only part seems out of place is the rear wheel caps.

But I think it is okay. Now to his energon swords. IMO, I think they are a little bit too long so that the arms always have

to bend at a angle when the swords are not in use. He is highly posable and well balanced. I am okay with his speech and

my son actually loves having fun making him talk. It would be even better if he speaks more sentences instead of just

announcing who he is (we all know who he is). This is the second leader class I've owned and comparing to the first one

which is sold already, this is so good. Now I can't wait to the Jetpower (or whatever you want to call) Optimus Prime.

 

Transformation: 10 - Complex and fun. A lot of steps but very logical to represent the real look in both modes.

Fun: 10 - Truck mode is fun howling and rolling around and the robot mode is perfect with two swords. The only problem

is it always takes me more than 5 minutes to switch between either mode and some times my son cannot wait.

Display: 10 - Truck? Nice. Robot? Beauty.

Value: 10 - I got it for $25 from Walmart site. Nothing can be better with this leader class in about voyager class price.

Overall: 10 - Even if you don't get Jetfire to combine, he is still a perfect figure along to display and play with. Get him!
