Ultra Magnus

For ROTF, how can you get Jetfire without Prime to form that mighty Jetpower Prime? Same here for RiD line, there is not point of
getting Ultra Magnus only if you don't get Prime to form that beauty Omega Prime. I was hoping to land both of them at the same
time from the same seller but due to some minor mistakes, I ended up winning Ultra Magnus first.

Ultra Magnus's alternate mode is a semi-carrier, a very fantastic mode IMO. He can carry three deluxe size cars freely. Since I don't
have other RiD car robots and I don't plan to have them, I found the classic line cars fit with him pretty well, too. He totally has 10
wheels but when I got him, 4 of them are split. I can fix them with the super glue but darn Takara/Hasbro rubber quality control.
Other than that, this second hand truck is in a very good condition. It is sturdy if everything connects well and rolls smoothly. The
gun can place both at front and back, but I actually prefer not to put it.

The transformation isn't hard but I still use instruction for my first time. Now the robot mode really made my jaw drop. His legs
are way too long which can compete with Sailor Moon girls. His hollow chest/shoulder makes him look sloppy. At this size, his
elbow joint is using ball joint which can't hold the weight of his forearm. Even though his gun is very customizable and has lots of
place to put, it still can't make him look better. I never bother posing him since his legs pretty much just look like bricks to me
and almost has no posabilities despite those hip and knee ratch joints are super, super tight. No matter how the arm moves, he
just doesn't look impressive as a robot along. Unfortunately he has to suffer being a secondary support role of combination parts.
That reminds me the Brave Police I own, Duke Fire is just lame as usual. To me, ROTF Jetfire's robot mode actually has more play
value along. Anything good about him? Yeah, he is one of the very few not-a-prime-repaint figures and he is very tall. He is taller
than any of the current leader class figures I own. Now I just can't wait to have the Prime. Patience, patience.

Transformation: 6 - Satisfying enough but those ratch joints are just way too tight.
Fun: 4 - He is good as a carrier in the truck mode. I don't think I found too many out of his robot mode.
Value: 7 - A complete second hand with split tires and no instruction. $20.49 plus $7.05 shipping is just okay.
Overall: 5 - He is just okay. With those extra long legs and loose arms joints that should be tighter and tight legs joints that
should be looser, I will never buy him if not for the Omega Prime.
(Note: I actually raise Jetfire's rating after this review, and now Jetfire doesn't look too bad standing next to him.)
