Omega Prime

Oh! Omega Prime. He is the reason I spend my time and money to try to get Ultra Magnus and Optimus Prime. I kind of grew my
confident on the RiD line after getting Megatron and even up until now 8 year after still many people talk about this guy. So even
though Ultra Magnus disappointed me, I gave my hope on Prime because all I care is this big fella. Does he satisfy me? Well......

Using Optimus Prime's core body as the main body, putting Ultra Magnus's parts on, now Omega Prime stands right infront of me.
Omega Prime is a beauty, Lots of colors but does not hurt my eyes. He is tall, taller than ROTF Jet Prime but still shorter than
Primus. Unlike many of the combined robots, he is quite poseable but not quite sturdy. With the even heavier than fire truck parts
extra weight put on Optimus Prime, his joints, especially the waist, cannot cope with them pretty well. Posing him has to be
really careful since his lower body cannot support the upper body that well and will bend backward easily. You especially don't
want that happen on the shelf.

The gun from Ultra Magnus has similar scheme to put on Prime, and very nicely the sounds trigger differently than just Ultra
Magnus along. Now my question is what should I do with the extra fire truck parts. Thanks for some online pictures giving me
ideas, I've used them to customize my Prime to Ultra Omega Prime. The only thing is I still cannot figure out how to put the
ladder on top of his head like I see from some other pictures. But after these customizations, he does look really nice if he can
stand straight.

Transformation: 7 - Has to follow instruction for the first time. Not that difficult but the instruction makes it so.
Fun: 9 - He is poseable and customizable with those fire truck parts. He has active fingures and can hold extra weapons tightly.
Only the balance issue kills the fun part.
Display: 10 - A beauty to display anywhere.
Overall: 9 - Besides the balance issue, he totally is a nice figure. Don't have the same excitement when I was combining Jet
Prime. Maybe after all these years, I finally get away from the Japanese typical design style.
