Still not very clear on why I decide to get this figure since I never put my eyes on him when he was still on the shelf two years ago.
Then there was the time on the eBay and later got him. Man! Like people discusses in the thread and to my surprise, he is great.
Brawl's alternate mode is a M1 Abhrams tank with mine plow. Forget about the rolling, this is a cool and realistic looking tank. The
version I got is the modified/repainted desert version which comes in light brown. Besides through the hole you can see the robot
head hiding underneath and the feet hanging on the back, you almost cannot see any robot kibble showing on the tank. For the
light and sound feature, I am very pleased that he is not saying "I am brawl......" like all the leader class toys in ROTF did. These
are much better rocket firing and missile shooting sounds. His size is perfectly scaled with the deluxe class cars and he is inches
shorter than ROTF prime. This is a tank good for both display and play with.
The transformation is very well designed. Sides of tank fold in as panels to form the back of legs and the extra weapons hiding in
the tank can now link attach to both arms. For most of my surprise, he is well balanced with those two tiny ugly feet. He is also
highly posable with his chunky body and limbs. Besides classic Jetfire, he is the most heavy armed robot I've ever seen. Two back
smoothbore guns, two back rocket launchers, the main rifled gun, one ?? gun on his right arm, a small chain gun with two blades
on the left arm, one blade on each leg, and two sets of chest missiles on either side. His entire body is made of weapons. Since
he is well scaled with deluxe cars, there is a lot of fun seeing him crushing them. As in the picture shown below, he can step on
Bumblebee while single hand holding sideswipe. No wonder in the movie he can keep the autobots and Lennox's troops so busy.
I wonder not even Prime can bring him down easily. Since mine is the second hand, the only problem is one of his blade on the
left arm keeps falling. I tried very hard to push it back but still not tight enough. This is very minor since I don't extend those
two blades out frequently so this should be okay.
Transformation: 9 - Very well designed and does not take as long as ROTF Prime. But have to be careful with the rifled gun.
Fun: 10 - He has weapons every where. He is good in both mode. He can crush deluxe class autobots.
Display: 9 - He is excellent to put in either mode but need some space for the tank mode.
Value: 10 - Won auction in $14.49 from eBay plus $9 shipping. Even tough no instruction, this is still a good price for this.
Overall: 9 - He is a decent figure. Probably not a very good looking robot but he is huge fun in both tank mode and robot mode.
