Thrust

As soon as I saw Hasbro is going to release him in the new Generation line (which is the continuous line of classics), I put my ROTF
Thrust on the market right away and put him in my W list. Now before this figure officiall hits the retail store's shelf, I was lucky to
get him from the Walmart site-to-store online order. Man, I am happy having him.

If you read my reivew of Starscream, you will see I'm just okay with him and much prefer the MP version. But after playing with him
more and more, especially with my son, I found he is a simple toy that gets the thing right comparing the MP version is pretty much
aiming for adults. Now let's get back to Thrust. Thrust's alternate mode is a modified F-15 jet. Have to praise the Generation line so
far. Same like WFC OP, Thrust's paint job is excellent. He has the chrome paint seat so that can make his cockpit looks shiny. The
yellow, gold, silver, white paint over the body is well done and make him much more G1 accurate than the previous henkei version.
The two VTOL engines can be attached at tail wing or main wing depends on your preference. The two missiles attache at the
bottom of main wing are tighter than Starscream's. Looks from bottom, you can see Thrust's face directly. Well, we typically avoid
judging transformers alternate mode from the bottom, right? Right? Anyway, because of his excellent paint job, his quality looks
actually higher than Starscream's.

Thrust has the exactly same transformation scheme as Starscream. All his joints are much tighter and all the robot features are
pretty much the same. The only difference is comparing to Starscream's identical one look, Thrust is more customizable. Well,
Starscream can do the same thing also but just looks way too strange and ugly. The main wing can either flip up or down, the tail
wing can let it point vertically or horizontally, the VTOL engines and put on either wings. All depends on your preference. The only
problem is if you have the main wings flip up and attach the VTOL engine on it and missile on his shoulder, the engine really limits
the arm movement and makes the missile drop easily. Paint job is still well done in robot mode. For some reason, I just feel he has
a too much stern looking face expression as his bio describes him as a run away coward.

Transformation: 8 - Easy and well designed.
Fun: 10 - His point is much higher than Starscream's because of his customization and they all look all right.
Display: 9 - He looks better because of the good paint job.
Value: 8 - $11.88 from walmart.com. Reasonable price for a good toy with good paint job.
Overall: 9 - The better paint job really stands him out. I hope Hasbro will keep this quality. Don't miss him if you like G1.
