Overkill

Since when my TF collection starts from cars and jets and now to dinosaurs. My first try is the animated activator Grimlock.
He is all right as his size but dinosaur look is really lame. Universe Grimlock is out of reach now and then here comes the
surprise, Marshalls is carrying univer special editions. Now I got Overkill.

Whenever I looked at this t-rex, it always reminds me the Mechagozilla. Since I don't have universe Grimlock, I believe this
is just a not-so-special pure repaint from Grimlock. Overkill has a really decent t-rex mode (except the gun on the back).
Comparing to the TFA Grimlock, this is much, much better and Grimlock is like a piece of crap. His tail can swings and his
legs has a lot of movement. His tiny arms is on ball joints so can move in many directions. The head can only move up and
down but this is decent enough for a deluxe size I think. He is pretty sturdy, too. Most of the joints are tight enough so he
can bite something (such as Grimlock) not too heavy and still stands.

Overkill's robot mode is as decent as his t-rex mode. Cannot really tell he is from a dinosaur right away. He has two
weapons: the bayonet gun and the tail whip. Both of them can be stored on his back when not use. He is well balanced so
even holding that heavy tail whip, it won't affect too much of his balance. The only problem I have for him is his hip joints.
They are somewhat loose so the legs can open wide easily by himself while standing. It's difficult to fix also because too
tight will make transform difficult and not tight enough still makes the posing hard. His forearms look a little bit short but
not looking very strange.

Transformation: 8 - The dinosaur legs/robot arms transformation is a little bit confusing in the beginning but overall is
very well designed.
Fun: 8 - T-rex mode is great fun and robot mode is well balanced and poseable. Only if they can hide his bayonet gun
somewhere unnoticed, it will be perfect. Too bad mine suffers some loose hip joint issue.
Display: 9 - Both modes are sturdy and looks good for your shelf.
Value: 10 - $9.99 for a not-so-special special edition from Marshalls. Think about how much the internet charges for the USE
now. This is a sweet deal.
Overall: 8 - A very decent figure in both modes. Only if they can do even better with the so called special edition.
