I kind of gave up on him after few failed bids on eBay. Then in my bitter process of finally finding a reasonable high price

Hot Rod, I found him, also at a reasonable high price.

 

Jetfire's alternate mode is somewhat like F-14, my favorite jet besides F-15. He looks very good from every angle. The

robot hands are just showing underneath. Part of the reason I think is he needs to hold his weapons in the full armor jet

mode. There isn't many perfect RID jet mode around, Jetfire is good enough. Putting on all his weapons, the jet still looks

fantastic. It is heavy and sturdy. The only problem I have is his arms latching to the legs is not tight, so they are easily off

while holding or moving it.

 

Can I call him a triple changer? Yes! He has the gerwalk mode (half transformation from jet to robot) and looks good. Oh

wait! There is a legal issue here putting this mode on Transformers, darn......

 

Now to the robot mode. Jetfire's face is handsome without the helmet. Same like his jet mode, he can has the normal mode

and full armor mode. His weapsons are just sweet, too sweet. I think he is the most heavy armed TF that I own. Two

back/shoulder cannons, two helmet guns, two arm rockets, and a rifle that can split into two also. Total counts, seven.

How come in his technical data he has only 7 in fireblast but Hot Rod is 8 with one smoke pipe gun and ROTF Thrust is 7

with one tiny arm chain gun? Only if he can borrow Prime's ion cannon, he can attack like Freedom Gundam. His joints are

extremely tight (or a little bit too tight), so he can hold his posing very well. He is a little bit off balance with the booster

on his back but better if you put the guns out and point forward.

 

Transformation: 9 - Easy but nice. Hey! There is the illegal gerwalk mode, 1 point up from 8.

Fun: 10 - He is so customizable in all modes. Lots of fun with lots of weapons. Oh, don't forget the hush-hush gerwalk

mode. Can't move that well but good enough.

Display: 9 - Both modes are great for display. Only if his head can be a little bit bigger or the helmet can be smaller.

Value: 7 - Same like Hot Rod, a sale but still high price at $29.99 from the same site. But he worths it.

Overall: 9 - He is a fantastic figure. If you own him, keep him. If you don't, find him in a reasonable price. The price

went up to $34.99 on the site right after I bought him.
