Brave Police J-Decker

I am a big fan of Brave series cartoon. Even long time before becoming Transformers fan and long time before this site, I already
have a prototype web site for Brave series but never went live. I've wathed the entire episodes of Brave of the Sun, Brave Legend,
Brave Express (own DVD), King of Braves (own DVD), King of Braves Final (own DVD), and played 2 Brave Saga games on PS and
bought the complete guide book (still own it) when traveling to Japan. But I never have a Brave series toy through all these time
only until 8, 9 years ago. I am always not fond with Takara's toy design on them. To me, they all looked terrible and I much
preferred Bandai's robot (mostly Gundam) designs at that time. 8 or 9 years ago, I went back to Taiwan and saw this Brave Police
pack in a department store with reasonable price, my mind finally shaked and bought this set as my first Brave series toy.

This pack contains Deckerd (not transformable), J-Roader, Duke (not transformatble), Fire Roader, Gun-Max (purely statue),
and Gun Bike. J-Roader and Fire Roader can barely roll and both Deckerd and Duke can't even move. Gun Bike rolls well but
Gun-Max will easily falls down. Those two trucks looks nice in this mode. There are many accessories setting apart that cannot
fit with the vehicle mode.

There is pretty much no transformation. Just split the parts out and put them back again, the two robots are there (in cartoon,
they actually transform). J-Decker and Duke Fire look okay in this mode while J-Decker is much taller than Duke Fire (in cartoon,
they are the same). Gun Bike can now attach to J-Decker to the gun cannon. They almost don't have any articulations. Only
place that can be moved is just swinging the arms. They are purely two statues.

After taking Duke Fire apart and put on J-Decker and also put on other accessories, they combined to Fire J-Decker. A little
more impressive but mess statue. Still can only swing the arms, but now his arms are way too short. Gun Bike can still attach
to him to form the max cannon mode. As Japanese tradition, they like people put stickers on the toy by themself. This is okay,
but after all these years, now many of the stickers are already falling off.

Transformation: 1 - Just taking parts out and putting them together.
Fun: 3 - The two trucks can roll and I think that's the only fun part. Robots are just statues.
Display: 6 - Robots are better to display and they don't look very good either.
Value: 2 - Already forgot how much I paid initially, but I will never do that again. Better put the same money to buy another
series of DVD. The best value for him now is I found his weapons fit very well with my classics line Transformers. You can
Overall: 3 - Even though as a fan like me, I don't like the toys. Better just watch the cartoons. They are much better.
