Meeting on July 7th, 2009

At the July 6 General Members' Meeting of PTAH, we continued to build up our working groups. Right now, we have three Working Groups and each is being led by one or two PTAH members:

1) Professional Development (Dustin Harvey)

2) Advocacy for HRM Funding (Hugo Dann)

3) Space (Maggie Stewart and Jeremy Webb)

Over the next few weeks, each Working Group leader will be sending out an introductory statement about getting things started (i.e. plans for initial meetings and activities).

Our goal is to get things organized over the summer so that the Working Groups can really take off in September when people are back in town.

Also, we have a group that is working on refining our communications.  We are trying to develop a website or other medium by which we can communicate, discuss, post information, etc. Watch for updates on this project, as well.

The next scheduled meeting is on Monday, August 17 at 6pm at the OneLight Theatre office. This is a meeting of the Steering Committee and Working Group leaders to review the initial development of the Working Groups.

However, as always, this meeting is open to all Members and we welcome you to attend.

Finally, the Steering Committee is open to anyone who would like to volunteer. Cat Mack has joined Maggie Stewart and Jarvis Googoo on the Steering Committee; let us know if you would like to join as well.

Regards,

PTAH Steering Committee
