PSG NEWS:
FEBRUARY 2012 UPDATE:
Check the PSG Calendar for important dates and be sure to add the events to your personal calendars!

TICKETS FOR THE SOCIAL on 2/16 (Thursday 2:35-4:30) ON SALE NOW for $5.- STUDENTS CAN PURCHASE THE TICKETS AT LUNCH ALL WEEK and UP TO 2/16. Students will receive a paper ticket which they can save and bring to the Social to enter into the raffle for prizes. (3 Drawings every half hour). When students purchase tickets their names are added to the master list -If the ticket is lost their name will still be on a master list so they can attend the social. The ticket is for the raffle and you must have your ticket to submit in the raffle drawing for prizes.
DONATIONS- PSG is still looking for donations of: PEPSI PRODUCT DRINKS (CANS, please) and Individual Snack Size Bags of Chips. Feel free to send any donations into school with your child or you can drop off your donation in the front office. If you would prefer to send a monetary donation please put the donation in a sealed envelope labeled PSG Donation and send that to school with your child or drop it off in the front office. Thank you so much!!!

SOCIAL (ALL grades) THURSDAY, February 16th after school (2:35) until 4:30. Please pick up promptly at 4:30.

DINE OUT FUNDRAISER NIGHTS-
February 29th @ Applebee's (you will need a FLIER to bring with you- see Purple Press for details)
MARCH 26th @ Orange Leaf
We hope to see you there! These establishments will donate a portion of their sales to the PSG so please try to come out, it's always a fun time!

VOLLEYBALL TOURNEY- Staff and Student teams are being formed now! Come watch and Support The West Chainlink on February 23rd (Thursday)!

STUDENTS Vs. STAFF BASKETBALL GAME for the "CURE":
Help Students and Staff raise awarness for Breast Cancer and join us on March 20th (Tuesday) for a great basketball game!
T-SHIRTS DESIGNED BY STUDENTS will be FOR SALE February 22, 23, 24 and February 29th, March 1st and March 2nd. Cost has not yet been determined- please check upcoming Purple Press Newsletters for more information.

If you are able to help SPONSOR this West Middle School Event or if you know of someone who can please contact Mrs. Johnson at West Middle School. Your business name will be listed on the back of the "Cure" t-shirts.

JAN. 2012 UPDATE:
Mark your calendars- Feb. 16th is the West Middle School ALL SCHOOL SOCIAL!! It will be after school until 4:30 and tickets are $5- and will include all snacks and drinks and LOTS of FUN Activities! There will be a DJ, Gym Activities and Inflatables!
TICKETS will be sold starting on Feb 1st and will be sold up to the day of the event, Feb. 16th! PSG will also be giving away prizes every half an hour!

HELP NEEDED:
We will be needing volunteers to help chaperone the social and also help selling tickets for the event. Tickets are sold during student lunches. If you can help sell tickets please contact Jennifer, Heather or Kathy. (Email addresses listed above)

DONATIONS:
An email went out asking for donations of snack size bags of chips and Pepsi soda. If you are able to help and donate please send the donation with your student- mark/label PSG Donation and we'll take it from there! Questions? Contact Jennifer, Heather or Kathy!

SCRIP NEWS!
NEED GIFT CARDS? SHOP A LOT? SCRIP has what you need! Help yourself and the school by purchasing scrip cards for yourself or for gifts! Purchase a card for your favorite grocery store and use the gift card rather than writing a check or spending cash- BWMS will receive a portion of the cards value! The BWMS website has an order form with lists of all the stores available!

Feb. 1st - Feb. 16th- Tickets on Sale for the ALL School SOCIAL!! Tickets are $5 and include Food, Drinks and ACTIVITIES! Activities include: Inflatables, DJ, Open Gym Activities and PSG is giving away prizes every half an hour!
Feb. 16th- After School until 4:30 is the WMS ALL SCHOOL SOCIAL! You will need to purchase a ticket (see above for ticket info.) to stay for the social. Parents, please pick up your student promptly at 4:30.

Recycle:
You can help WMS by bringing your recyclables to the recycling drop at West Middle School. The school earns money based upon weight, so if you have recycling, please be sure to drop it off in the recycling container outside at West Middle School!

You can also help by using your Marsh Fresh IDEAS card. If you don't have one, it is free and easy to register for! Go to www.marsh.net and sign up for West Middle School. Our school code is 28532
