Who Are the PS90 Music Messengers?
The PS90 Music Messengers is a group of students at PS90 who sing, play instruments, and do research about what they are learning. This site is their web-based home to show their work to the world!
- Each week, the Messengers meet on Tuesday and Thursday during their lunch period (after eating, of course)
- The instruments the Messengers use are called Orff instruments. These include xylophones, metallophones, glockenspiels, recorders, and percussion instruments.
- The Messengers use the skills they have been developing in general music class and expanding on them. This includes music literacy and instrument playing.
- Mr. McGorry helps them organize their work, but the work is done by the Music Messengers.
