Pammy was at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons on 16th September 2011 talking  through the dos and don’ts of hen keeping and the Raymond Blanc cookery school gave a demonstration on what to do with freshly laid eggs.

              Organic since 1997

Our woodland, planted in 2001 towers over our heads now and is the carbon neutral fuel source used for winter warmth, hot water and cooking in the house that Ritchie built. Our land is part of the Culm grassland that supports wonderful wildlife.

At present there are Red Devon cattle, geese, ducks and chickens for eggs and meat as well as a couple of dogs and a cat, the vermin control patrol and of course we live here too. So hello from Pammy and Ritchie Riggs and our two sons, Todd and Grant.

The Farm Shop is open from Wednesday to Saturday, 9 - 5.30
and our little poultry abattoir is where our home-grown birds are 'dealt with'. It is very important us to take responsibility for making sure that the creatures in our care have a hatch to dispatch relationship with us whenever possible.

The bigger animals go to an old fashioned tiny abattoir only 15 miles away.

Of course we want to sell all the organic meat we produce and can supply  Mail Order if it suits you better because we recognise that our produce is unique and cannot readily be obtained any other way so if you want a dry plucked and 'hung' chicken or fantastic duck we can help you out.

Our focus is to feed our local community and besides the Farm Shop we attend the vibrant and buzzing Tavistock Farmer's Market on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

Perhaps we will see you at one of these places or hear from you about Mail Order.  You will need to phone or email to place an order, see the contact us box.
