Returning Trash Cans to Our Parks

The city of Colorado Springs has removed 396 trash cans from 128 parks and trails. Regardless of your opinion of why we're here, how we got here or the current budget situation you can agree that we're going to have a big mess on our hands as the warm Spring air moves in.

You can help! The Proud of our Parks initiative is returning trash cans to city parks - but we need your help.

Colorado Spring Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services has agreed to return trash cans to parks that have a commitment to have trash collected and disposed of. Proud of our Parks is looking for volunteers, donors and sponsors to support this effort.
