Hurricane Creek's two major wetlands are now certified, and report was sent to the USACE on January 1, 2010.
Monetary Contributions: As of June 15, 2010 $2,166.00 has been collected through private donations and sale and auction proceeds toward the bill of $2500.00. (Funds collected over the amount of the bill will be used to produce a documentary and music video for Blackburn Park, through Bluebirdav Studios in Dahlonega towards the effort to reopen Blackburn Park and protect it from logging projects).
