What about the trip?

Who pays?
The trip is funded individually (all of our fundraising goes towards our projects, not trips), and has been about $1200 including all airfare, transportation, and hotel in Puno. Food is not included, but food is quite cheap in Puno. Some ate for less than $3 or $4 per days.

How long?
We go during the summer for around a month, but the upcoming trip may be extended. This will likely mean that total cost increases. However, most of the trip cost is taken up in airfare, so it is actually cheaper per day on more extended trips. Alternative dates can be arranged depending on group involvement. Members can only really expect to go with continued, significant involvement in the group.
