Heifer is a popular site, and lets you purchase livestock animals for poor or hungry people. World Food Programme is a program run by the United Nations to fight poverty and starvation. It is a really great and user-friendly website. Free Rice (a division of the WFP) allows you to donate rice to hungry people, especially children, by simply answering trivia questions. Conservation International lets you donate money to help preserve the enviornment, and is full of great eco-friendly information. The Hunger Site is one of several related sites, all of which get sponsors to donate money to a cause, just by having people click the Give button.
