"Project KITT" is referring to my 1983 Pontiac Firebird project car. And yes, it's named after the talking car from the 80's TV show Knight Rider. This site documents the restoration and conversion of KITT to an electric vehicle powered solely by batteries.

We currently have the motor and are working on getting an adapter plate for the transmission. Below is a diagram of KITT's current progress, the brightly colored items we have, the faded ones we are working on.
