Training Hours

Total of hours training in Progressive Kinesiology

Foundation studies consist of 8 days tuition and 1 day’s assessment - Professional training consists of 25 days tuition and 1 day assessment – 35 days in total. However in some cases training sessions may be run mid week which will alter the actual days but the hours should remain of a similar value. Class sizes also reflect the time required to train, for instance in a small class of students or one to one we will cover the material quicker and the subject can be taught in less than the normal 150 hours for practitioner and 60 hours for foundation.

Currently a normal training day is approx. 6 hours in length and both courses together consist of approximately 210 hours tuition, 210 hours home study, 60 case studies (150 hours), plus a 3 - 5,000 word dissertation/in-depth study paper on a students chosen subject within kinesiology (100 hours approx).

Each month students are also required to read a designated book to support their training and the relevant module (50 hours). 720 hours total study can be expected overall – this equates to approx. 10 hours per week over an 18 month period. Core subjects are not included in this estimate.

From 2012 the practitioner’s course will be 40 days in length and will include the Practice Management, Interpersonal Skills and Nutrition Core Subjects, all remedies and assessment costs. This course is due to start in February 2012 and end October 2013. Cost £4,900 inclusive.
