We have had a busy year at the Progressive Kinesiology Academy and have completed a Foundation course, and the Practitioners course that started in September 2010 finally concluded December 2011.
Students have taken part in Exhibitions and a Headway Charity event and we had a Flower Remedy making Day at Lauriston Farm the Biodynamic Farm run by Spencer Christy in Goldhanger on Beltane Day (1st May). We have some Kinesiology CPD courses planned for 2012/13 including another Flower Making day as it was so popular. Most of our training courses have now got OCN approval which means we have credits of learning available for these courses - we became an OCN recognised centre in 2010. (Extra charges may apply in some cases for certification). We have the first OCN Practitioners training course beginning in February. Kim Sutton-Grant and I have also been very busy 'growing' the academy and have undertaken the Level 4 Internal Verifiers Course at Essex University which we have just completed (and it was an awful lot of work!). This means we can expand and develop the Academy over the next few years. The KF AGM date happens to fall when baby number two (see below) is due, and Angela Wells has kindly offered to be my 'stand in' and will be manning the stand in Edinburgh. She has been a real asset over the last year assisting on both courses and undertaking her PTTLS training. On a very sad note my dear friend Ann Holdway - formally of the Booklist and Directory and Editor of the In Touch Magazine and author of the book 'Kinesiology - The Wisdom Within' died suddenly and unexpectedly before Christmas. Her funeral was on the 6th January ~ I will miss her very much.
On a personal and happier note my elder daughter Georgina and husband Alex are due their second child next May. Plus my younger daughter Simone gets married to fiancé Ben next July - so I have a very busy year ahead!
