Il 3 e 4 novembre è iniziato il nuovo progetto educativo "La guerra dei padri raccontata dai figli. Le problematiche del passaggio delle memorie familiari". L'idea è nata quando abbiamo conosciuto, tramite Luca Morini di Monzuno, la storia sofferta di Udo Sürer, avvocato per i diritti degli immigrati in Germania, che vive a Lindau in Baviera. Per raccontarla riportiamo la presentazione che Udo ha fatto di se stesso a Vinca (Massa) nell'agosto di quest'anno, quando ha partecipato alla commemorazione della strage; il brano è tratto dall'articolo di Roberto Oligeri pubblicato sul Secolo XIX il 26 agosto 2008 (allegato):
Mi chiamo Udo Sürer, vengo da Lindau città della Baviera e purtroppo ho scoperto che mio padre, l’ex sergente SS Josef Majer, di cui ho rifiutato il cognome, 64 anni fa era qui a Vinca ad uccidere i vostri cari e a distruggere il vostro bel villaggio… Ho deciso, se me lo permettete, di prendere parte anch’io al vostro lutto, che sento profondamente appartenere anche a me. Il lutto… un sentimento che non provo quando mi reco sulla tomba di mio padre, quell’uomo che, tornato dalla guerra seppur mutilato, un buon padre non lo è mai stato e neppure lo poteva essere dopo tutto quello che aveva commesso e di cui mai aveva provato pentimento. Lo abbiamo ospitato e accompagnato a Prunetta a vedere i luoghi dove il padre fu ferito con l'aiuto di Daniele Amicarella e dell'ex-partigiano Fosco Papini di Maresca (sappista e soldato della "Legnano"), mentre a Monzuno, a Vado il padre perse una gamba, ha conosciuto il Sindaco Andrea Marchi col quale abbiamo deciso di avviare il progetto. Siamo stati ospiti di Heidi Johnson e Alessandro Baldi. Heidi è tedesca e anche lei ha una storia simile a quella di Udo, mentre Alessandro è figlio di Libero Baldi che militò nella 62a brigata "Camicie Rosse Garibaldi" con funzioni di commissario politico; cadde in combattimento il 20 settembre 1944 a Cà di Lavacchio (Monterenzio). Project "The fathers' war told by sons and daughters. Problems in the transfer of family memories"
A new educational project on "The fathers' war told to sons and daughters. Problems in the transfer of family memories." Began on the 3rd and 4th November.
The idea was born when we met, thanks to Luca Morini from Monzuno, the history of Udo Sürer, who lives in Lindau, Bavaria and is a lawyer working for the rights of immigrants in Germany. To tell this story we quote the presentation given by Udo himself in Vinca (Massa) in August this year, when he participated to a remembrance ceremony of the massacre; the passage is from the article written by Roberto Oligeri and published on the newspaper "Secolo XIX" on the 26th August 2008 (attached):
My name is Udo Sürer, I'm from Lindau in Bavaria and unfortunately I discovered that my father, former SS Sergeant Josef Majer, of whom a refused the surname, 64 years ago was here in Vinca to kill your dear ones and destroy your beautiful village… I decided, if you let me, to participate to your grief, because I feel it deeply belongs to me as well. Grief… it is a feeling I never feel when I visit my father's tomb, that man who, come back from war even if mutilated, he has never been a good father. And how could he be, after all he had done and he never felt sorry for it. We hosted him and, with Daniele Amicarella and the former partisan Fosco Papini di Maresca (part of the partisan group "Legnano"), we took him to Prunetta to see the places where his father had been wounded. In Monzuno, in Vado, his father had lost his leg and here Udo met the Mayor of the town, Andrea Marchi, with whom we decided to start the project. We have been guests of Heidi Johnson and Alessandro Baldi. Heidi is German, and she has a story similar to Udo's, while Alessandro is the son of Libero Baldi, who was a member of the 62a brigata "Camicie Rosse Garibaldi" (62nd Red Brigade "Camicie Rosse Garibaldi") with the functions of a political commissioner. He died in a battle on 20th Septermber 1944 in Cà di Lavacchio (Monterenzio).
