PROFESSIONAL 

I'm a TV producer at Fox Broadcasting with an interest in both traditional and new media.  I produce campaigns for Bones, American Idol and plenty of reality shows you would never admit to watching.

I'm actively developing several competition-based reality projects at my production company TVMind .  

I created and produced the popular video podcast 1TrackMind, from Aug 2006 to July 2007.  The weekly show featured news & satire about the world of sex and pop culture, hosted by the hilarious  Lou Santini and Danielle Stewart.

In the mid-1990s, I produced 2 independent films: Riding with James Dean (buy the DVD) and Psycho Sushi and a feature documentary "Liftoff! An Astronaut's Journey".

My background is entertainment advertising.  I started out editing trailers (including the Android trailer) for Roger Corman at New World Studios during the early 1980s.   I eventually ended up as VP Marketing at Cannon Films, where I worked with all the 80s Hollywood tough guys: Chuck Norris, Charles Bronson, Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude Van Damme and Sho Kosugi (Revenge of the Ninja).  I moved over to the TV side in 1989.  Since then, I've produced for CBS, ABC, UPN, E! Entertainment, and Fox.

SCUBA diving is a blast!  I've just started to explore the undersea world.  I've been to many Southern California dive sites and to Cancun.

Wine and wine tasting is an occasional interest.  My favorite local vineyard is L'Aventure Winery in Paso Robles.

I love hiking and camping.  Favorite places to hike include Arroyo Seco in Pasadena and Topanga Canyon.

Los Angeles history and architecture interests me, so I'm an LA Conservancy member . I'm also a big fan of Esotouric's LA history tours, hosts Richard and Kim are gifted historians and storytellers. 

I wrote about my father's incredible Navy career.  Carl Pritchard was a self-made man and Pearl Harbor survivor.   

LITTLE-KNOWN THINGS ABOUT ME

As a teenager, I spent many summer vacations working on the Johnny Keys Ranch near Pioneertown in the California high desert.  It was a working ranch where I learned to ride and train horses.  I also helped build an adobe house and string barbed wire fences. 

I'm a 25-year Sierra Club member who advocates  renewable energy as the solution to our energy crisis.
